Embracing the benefit of modern trail bike geometry and the character of chromoly steel, the Bongo Jungle is the perfect bike for you if you are doing a combination of long pedaling rides, stiff climbs, extended descent, or few days of bike packing. Our seamless, heat-treated, multi-butted MKPT chromoly tubing provides a great balance between weight and durability. The steep 73-degree seat angle gets you centered over the BB for climbing efficiency. Groovy York ( instead of welding a chunky steel plate or making a huge den on the chainstay) allows the Bongo Jungle to have a short 425mm chainstay for pedaling efficiency. 67.5-degree head angle paired with longer reach and extended wheelbase contributes to stability and self-confidence even in difficult descents. The versatility of steel gives us the option to add accessory mounting points, rack and fender mounts, and additional bottle cages mounts. Other features such as stealth dropper post inner cable routing, ED coating inside out, and sexy steel fin dropout all combined to make Bongo Jungle a modern and excellent steel hard tail mountain bike for any type of riding.
